Martin Park Celebrates 50 Years with Rededication Ceremony and Week of Family-Friendly Activities in Oklahoma City

Marking half a century of communal solace and natural splendor, Martin Park is slated for a rededication ceremony this coming Saturday. According to an official announcement from the City of Oklahoma’s news release, the celebration will be replete with activities for all ages, embracing the local community’s bond with the treasured park.

The ceremony will proceed at 11 a.m. at the picnic pavilion, with Ward 8 Councilman Mark Stonecipher and Neil Garrison, the park’s most enduring naturalist, slated to speak. In the case of rain, festivities will move indoors to the Visitor Center.
