Two cases of West Nile Virus confirmed in Oklahoma Co., says Health officials

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – On Wednesday, the Oklahoma County Health Department (OCCHD) confirmed two cases of West Nile Virus (WNV) reported in Oklahoma County.

According to Health officials, the two cases of WNV are the first report of infections in the area this season.

WNV remains the leading cause of mosquito-borne illness in the United States.
