OKLAHOMA CITY- (KOKH) — The National Weather Service has issued a moderate to major heat risk this weekend, which is why EMS officials are urging people to wear light colored, loose fitting clothing and properly hydrate.
Riley Howard, Community and Special Events Coordinator for EMSA, told FOX 25 they’ve already been responding to heat-related calls in the last few days.
“We saw and transported the most patients we’ve seen this year related to heat. In between both Tulsa and Oklahoma City, we saw over 10 patients and transported the majority of them,” he said…
