Shawna Deeds considers herself lucky to have known what she wanted to do with her life from a very young age.
Deeds, the new librarian at Yukon’s Mabel C. Fry Public Library, grew up reading books. Books were a big deal to her family.
Her mom and grandma read to her all the time, and she would fall asleep listening to books on tape (yes, actual cassettes!)…
