OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (KOKH) — Multiple roadways are flooded across the Oklahoma City metro area on Saturday as severe storms bring heavy rainfall across the state.
North Kelley Ave near West 33rd Street was flooded, with cars plowing through the water.
N Pennsylvania Avenue also flooded near NW 133rd Street, which is just south of Memorial Road.
Other areas of impact include:
- Northwest Expressway and Rockwell
- The I-40/I-44 junction
- NW 10th and Yukon Parkway
- Broadway between 9th & 11th
- Covell and Air Depot
- 7600 E.Covell,
- Midwest Blvd and Sorghum Mill
Officials are urging drivers to stay home and avoid flooded areas. Multiple waves of showers and storms are expected throughout the weekend, with the biggest concern being heavy rain.
