Oklahoma City to Enjoy Sunny Days with Temperatures Rising Toward 97 Degrees This Week

Oklahomans can expect to wake up to some patchy fog this morning, but it should clear up quickly, making way for a mostly sunny day with highs creeping up to 89 degrees. According to the National Weather Service in Oklahoma City, the calm will not to last into the evening, with winds shifting from the east to south after midnight and a low settling around 72 degrees.

As we move into tomorrow, temperatures are slated to rise with highs topping out near 93 degrees and heat index values that could reach up to 100 degrees. “Mostly sunny,” the forecast charts the course for the rest of the week, promising even more warm weather that seems firmly to be making its claim on the region, as per the NWS. The light south southwest wind tomorrow is expected to increase to 6 to 11 mph.
