OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A program in its second year with Oklahoma City Public Schools has seen growth for kids who may need more support in their education. They’re doing developmental screenings that aim to get kids on track sooner rather than later.
“We’re able to start kids off on the right foot, get those early interventions, get the support and the resources for families early on, and just change the trajectory for these kiddos at three and four before they ever step into formal school,” Special Education Early Childhood Coordinator with Oklahoma City Public Schools Kyrie Coon said.
