Stroud service plaza on Turner Turnpike closes for construction

Travelers on the Turner Turnpike between Tulsa and Oklahoma City will need to plan ahead for rest stops, as the westbound Stroud service plaza is now closed for construction.

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority announced the closure took effect July 15 as part of a long-term improvement project. The rest area is not expected to reopen until fall 2025.
