Air Force Band of the West to tour Oklahoma with free concerts

Oklahomans will get the chance to hear the United States Air Force Band of the West in person later this summer as the group kicks off a four-day concert tour across the state.

Based in San Antonio, the band is made up of 61 professional musicians who travel the country as musical ambassadors of the U.S. Air Force. Their upcoming Oklahoma tour includes stops in Oklahoma City, Claremore, Tahlequah and Enid, with each performance open to the public and free of charge.

Concert Dates Across Oklahoma

The Oklahoma leg of the tour begins Sunday, August 25 in Oklahoma City. The band will then perform in Claremore on Monday, August 26 and Tahlequah on Tuesday, August 27. The final Oklahoma stop is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28 in Enid.

The tour will continue into Texas with performances in Amarillo and Lubbock on August 29 and 30.
