Local nonprofit stepping in to help more than 30 employees laid off at Bar K

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The sudden closure of the metro dog park, Bar K, has left many employees without jobs. However, one local nonprofit is stepping in to help those employees make ends meet.

Tabitha Buss, the Founder and President of Silver Paws Golden Days Co., told News 4, “The support that they’ve given us, we just want to support them back.”

The doors at Bar K in Oklahoma City are locked, and the parking lot is now completely empty, as the business has closed for good.
