A Guthrie High School graduate and former Guthrie resident is facing a first-degree murder charge after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend to death while under the influence of psychedelic mushrooms at a northwest Oklahoma City home over the weekend.
According to Oklahoma City Police, 36-year-old Kyle Guthrie called 911 around 1:10 a.m. Saturday, and admitted to stabbing his girlfriend inside a home near NW 122nd and Rockwell. When officers arrived, they found 36-year-old Thanh Thi Yen To dead inside the residence with multiple stab wounds.
Guthrie, who graduated from Guthrie High School in 2007, was arrested at the scene and later booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a complaint of first-degree murder…
