Moore woman gets 9 years for overdose death linked to fentanyl

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — A Moore woman has been sentenced to nine years in federal prison for the distribution of fentanyl leading to an overdose death, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.

Beth Nichole Christianna Morris, 34, of Moore, also has to pay more than $18,000 in restitution for funeral expenses.

Norman Police on Oct. 28, 2019, responded to a fatal fentanyl overdose at an apartment complex in Norman. The investigation led to Morris as having sold three counterfeit “M-30” pills to the victim the day prior.
