NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) — Norman Police arrested a man Thursday, accused of holding a woman at gunpoint and taking her vehicle back in July.
According to the Norman Police Department, officers arrested 34-year-old Michael Schmidt on Thursday after he was wanted in connection with a robbery of a vehicle on July 10.

Officials say that investigators believe it was Schmidt who approached a female in the parking lot of a business near 36th Avenue NW and W Robinson Street. He allegedly pointed a firearm at her and demanded the keys to her 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee before driving away in her vehicle.
