Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer is facing some serious accusations following a screenshot of Venmo transactions denoting sports gambling surfacing online.
The screenshot below was posted to social media this week and includes references to sports betting. It also specifies a game between UCLA and USC.

Mateer, who is now the starting quarterback for the Sooners, has denied allegations of gambling rule contraventions. He insists the Venmo descriptions were part of inside jokes between him and his friends, as he claims to have never bet on sports…
