Authorities searching for inmate who walked away from corrections center in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKla. — The Oklahoma Department of Corrections are searching for an inmate who they say unlawfully walked away from Clara Waters Community Corrections Center in Oklahoma City.

They say Jermaine E. Jackson, 39, walked away at approximately 11:33 p.m. on Friday, August 22. Jackson is currently serving a 10-year sentence for possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction out of Pottawatomie County.

Jackson is described as a Black man, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 217 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes…
