AG Drummond ask Court of Criminal Appeals to switch death row inmates’ execution dates

OKLAHOMA — Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond asked the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals to switch the execution dates of two death row inmates.

Drummond asked for death row inmate Kendrick Simpson to now be executed on Oct. 30, instead of death row inmate Tremane Wood.

The AG’s office said the request comes after Wood’s attorneys announced they can no longer represent Wood in the case…
