OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Attorney General Gentner Drummond has warned major artificial intelligence companies to stop hurting kids.
In a letter to a dozen companies, including Apple, Google, Meta and Microsoft, Drummond and a coalition of 43 other attorneys general addressed reports of AI chatbots engaging in sexually inappropriate conversations with kids.
Drummond said in a press release that internal Meta documents reveal the company authorized its AI Assistants to “flirt and engage in romantic roleplay with children” as young as 8 years old.
