Full Circle Bookstore is bringing back a childhood favorite with a twist, hosting a book fair designed for adults on Saturday, Sept. 13. The free event runs from 3 to 6 p.m. and will feature local content creators from Instagram and TikTok, known in online reading circles as “Bookstagram” and “BookTok.”
Steven Zoeller, assistant manager at Full Circle Bookstore, said the goal is to create the same excitement people felt as kids at school book fairs—this time with drinks in hand.
“Get a whole bunch of people in the room, put a whole lot of books out, put a drink in their hand, just let them go to town,” Zoeller said. “We’ve roped in the biggest content creators and rising stars in Oklahoma, people that are really big on Instagram, TikTok, they call it BookTok, and we’re giving each of them a space at the fair so they can sort of like talk about their favorite books to people and recommend them.”…
