OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The month of September means fall is coming, even if the weather doesn’t feel like it! It also marks the start of the Oklahoma State Fair, and that means the games, food, and rides are back!
“It’s a double-decker carousel with different kinds of animals on it. I’m not a merry-go-round guy, but it’s so majestic and it typifies so much of what the fair is about,’ said Frank Zaitshik, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Wade Shows.

Rows of rides and carnival games taking over the fairgrounds can only mean one thing, and on opening day, several Oklahomans are getting a head start on the fun, or gearing up to face their fears.
“I like the rides. I never went on the Magnum, but I think it’s going to be fun,” said Malaylah Mayfield.
