OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Crossroads Mall has sat empty for years, but a new plan is looking to change that and bring it back to life.
Sante Fe South Schools already owns part of the mall, and now, with the rest, which was purchased by the Crossroads Renewal Project, the plan is to transform the space into a community school.
“It solves for all of those things that get in the way of a student learning, maybe dental health or a difficult situation at home or food insecurity by putting those solutions in the school itself,” said Chris Brewster, superintendent and founder of Sante Fe South Schools and president of Crossroads Renewal Project.
