Man Poses as Attorney to Gain Access to Girlfriend Inside Oklahoma County Detention Center

Oklahoma City, OK – An Oklahoma man has been arrested after allegedly posing as an attorney to gain access to his girlfriend, who is being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center. The incident, which took place on October 13, has raised concerns over security and the integrity of the facility.

The Deception and Arrest

According to a probable cause affidavit, Aaron Oldham, 30, visited the attorney’s visitation area of the detention center and falsely claimed to be an attorney. He asked to meet with Christine Hillier, who is incarcerated on a warrant out of Nevada. Oldham allegedly introduced Hillier as his client and proceeded to gain access to the secure attorney booth.

Once inside, Oldham and Hillier filled out power of attorney paperwork before engaging in a kiss and hug, which was later observed by detention officers. Investigators later confirmed that Oldham has no legal training and has never held a license to practice law.
