17-Year-Old Star Spencer High School Student Identified After Deadly Shooting Near Campus

SPENCER, OKLAHOMA — A 17-year-old student from Star Spencer High School was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon after an altercation escalated near the school, prompting lockdowns and a heavy police presence in the area.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office said the incident began as a fight among a group of juveniles near Northeast 34th Street and Spencer Road. During the confrontation, one of the teens reportedly pulled out a gun and opened fire, striking another male juvenile.

The victim, identified as Sebastian Guyton, was rushed to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Oklahoma City Public Schools officials confirmed Guyton was a student at Star Spencer High School
