OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma House Democratic Leader Cyndi Munson, D-Oklahoma City, released the following statement regarding ongoing investigations of alleged misconduct by Rep. Ajay Pittman, D-Oklahoma City.
“While we maintain that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, the allegations regarding Rep. Ajay Pittman are severe enough that action was warranted. The House Democratic Caucus has voted to temporarily suspend Rep. Ajay Pittman from House Democratic Caucus membership and activities pending the outcome of an investigation from the Attorney General alleging misconduct.
