CAVALIER, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A 37-year-old man from Spencer, Oklahoma, faces three felony charges related to Methamphetamine distribution in Pembina County, North Dakota.
Rory Land Hite was charged on October 27 in Pembina County District Court with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from a controlled buy operation and subsequent search warrant execution.
The Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force conducted a controlled buy operation in mid to late October, targeting meth distribution at Motel 66. During the operation, the investigation target purchased one ounce of methamphetamine from someone in room 110 using funds provided by law enforcement.
Hite was identified as the source through room rental records and pen register trap and trace investigation. The target had communications with Hite before and after the buy. A confidential informant received 29.4 grams of methamphetamine that had been purchased from Hite…
