Firefighters tackle three OKC structure fires over the weekend, one firefighter injured

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (KOKH) — Oklahoma City firefighters responded to three structure fires Saturday night and early Sunday morning, including a third-alarm fire near the 700 block of S. MacArthur reported around 1:45 a.m.

When crews arrived, they found a vacant two-story motel fully engulfed in flames. The property was surrounded by a chain-link security fence, and firefighters had to force entry to reach the structure.

The building started to collapse, so crews worked to put the fire out from outside the structure, working through he night to get the flames under control…
