OU student nominates man who towed her car for Pay It 4Ward award

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – When an OU freshman was trying to avoid paying for parking during a very busy Fall Family Weekend, she parked in a tow-away zone more than a mile from campus. Needless to say, her car was, in fact, towed. However, what happened next led Natalie Neasbitt to nominate the tow truck driver for a $400 Pay It 4Ward award.

As a college student and a restaurant host making ten dollars an hour, Natalie knows the value of a dollar. “It was a hefty bill and I was pretty upset,” she said of the $322 impound charge.

It was business as usual for Cyed Raza, owner of Raza’s Garage in Norman, when he towed away Natalie’s vehicle—until, that is, she entered his business with her father.

Despite her dad’s pleas to pay the bill, Natalie insisted she would be the one to pay it.

“He tried to pay for it, and I told him in front of Raza, ‘No, this is entirely my fault. I parked in a tow-away zone. I have to pay this bill,’” Natalie recounted…
