OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma will distribute emergency food boxes and produce during a drive-thru distribution event.
The event will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, in the parking lot of Santa Fe South High School at Plaza Mayor, 6921 Plaza Mayor Blvd.
This is open to any Oklahoman impacted by the longest federal government shutdown in U.S. history and the first ever lapse in funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Oklahomans who wish to attend are asked to fill out this form ahead of time.
“We know many Oklahomans are facing an immediate crisis as SNAP benefits have been disrupted and multiple paychecks have been missed for federal workers.
