OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – If you’re among the thousands in need of food due to the SNAP benefit debacle, an event this weekend could help out. The regional food bank is hosting a mass distribution event on Saturday.
It will be a drive through event and will be in the parking lot of Santa Fe South High School at Plaza Mayor. That’s near the old Crossroads Mall at I-35 and I-240. The exact address is 6921 Plaza Mayor Blvd., and it will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 15.
The food bank is asking everyone to fill out this registration form before coming out, but it’s only to collect information on the response and the need around town. They said no one will be turned away…
