OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — One state lawmaker is calling for change after the state placed an Oklahoma City charter school on probation this week amid questionable financial troubles that left it with only one teacher for all 115 of its students.Oklahoma State Charter School Board members voted to place Proud to Partner Leadership Academy—an Oklahoma City charter school—on probation Monday, after hearing a report from board staff raising a number of red flags about the school’s finances and academics.“There were also some concerns that the school was using one fiscal year—like, the current fiscal year’s revenues—to pay expenditures in a prior fiscal year,” board staff told state school board members during Monday’s meeting.
