Oklahoma City Man Accused of Second-Degree Murder Following Fatal Shooting on Northwest Expressway

An altercation in northwest Oklahoma City escalated into a fatal shooting early Wednesday, leaving one man dead and another facing criminal charges. Authorities received a distress call just before 2:30 a.m. and responded to an apartment complex on Northwest Expressway near May Avenue. On arrival at the scene, Oklahoma City Police Department officers discovered 47-year-old Jeffrey Gill with multiple gunshot wounds, as reported by News 9. He was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries before 3:40 a.m.

Police have since apprehended 24-year-old Darius Williams on a complaint of second-degree murder, now held without bond at the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
