OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – One person has been arrested after a child died from severe burns, police say.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to the 5700 block of NW 16th St. on October 25, 2025. Upon arrival, they found a one-year-old child with severe burns to his head and face. He was taken to a nearby burn center where he died a week later.
Officials say 21-year-old Logan Banks was watching the child when the injury happened. He is the boyfriend of the child’s mother.
He was interviewed and arrested on a complaint of child neglect. The complaint will be amended from child neglect to murder…
