OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (KOKH) — An Oklahoma City man has been sentenced to serve a year and a half in federal prison for an assault on a United States Postal Service carrier.
Kantrell Dawan Henderson, 34, pleaded guilty in August, admitted he assaulted a federal employee who was engaged in their official duties.
According to public record, on Oct. 19, 2024, Oklahoma City Police Department officers responded to a call regarding an assault on a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier. Witnesses reported that, while the carrier was delivering mail on his route, Henderson confronted and placed the carrier in a chokehold.
