OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A lot of folks like to toss the pigskin around the yard with their family on Thanksgiving. For one metro group of childhood friends, it’s a tradition dating back 6 decades with a yearly “Turkey Bowl” at Taft Stadium in northwest Oklahoma City.
They play the game synonymous with the holiday with friends and family on Thanksgiving morning. Every year it takes place on the same field where it started 66 years ago.
