City of Norman advances in hopes for a permanent homeless shelter
NORMAN, Okla. – Norman’s CityCouncil approved the purchase of 3-acres of land on the Griffin Memorial campus during a meeting on Tuesday.
The deal costs the city $74,290. It follows long negotiations about the Griffin Memorial property, and with wider ambitions for the rest of the property. ODMHSAS is moving its Griffin Memorial services to a newly renovated facility in Southwest Oklahoma City.
