North Italia, which bills itself as a modern Italian restaurant with a neighborhood feel, is planning to open its first location in Oklahoma at Penn Square Mall.
North Italia offers classic Italian favorites made from scratch every day. The menu is slightly tailored to local markets with appetizers, salads, fresh pastas, pizzas, and entrees.
Previously, they had filed plans for the OAK development across the street but then withdrew and will now be taking the spot formerly occupied by the Pepperoni Grill, next to the west mall entrance. Directly related is a recently filed lawsuit by the OAK owners claiming interference by Penn Square owners Simon Property Group.
