OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City residents who use a credit card to pay some city fees will see a new service charge starting Jan. 1, 2025, according to city officials.
The fee will apply to what the city describes as optional credit card payments, which include permits, licenses and lodging taxes, and will show up as a separate line item to help offset processing costs.
Officials said the fee will not apply when a credit card is the only payment option. Parking payments, municipal court fines, Parks and Recreation fees and Animal Welfare payments will remain exempt…
