Oklahoma County Jail, City of OKC in financial standstill pending contract agreement

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Oklahoma County Jail charges the City of Oklahoma City a rate for an inmate’s first day in jail, but in recent months, News 4 has learned the city hasn’t been paying.

Things are at a standstill while the two parties work on a new contract agreement, but as they work on trying to meet in the middle, the jail is out tens of thousands of dollars.
