One person rescued, hospitalized after house fire in Moore

MOORE, Okla. (KFOR) — Fire crews responded to a Moore house fire on Thursday afternoon, where at least one person was rescued.

According to the Moore Fire Department, crews responded to a house fire near NW 27th Street and Santa Fe Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday, where, when firefighters arrived, they were met with heavy smoke and flames coming from the house.

One person, who was inside the house when crews arrived, was rescued and transported to a local hospital after suffering smoke inhalation, but they are expected to be okay.

Fire officials said that they are also searching for several of the victims’ pets…
