Norman woman will serve time for near deadly crash

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) — It has been almost three years since Sara Polston caused a near-deadly crash. On Friday evening, a judge decided that Polston will serve time.

According to court documents, Sara Polsten was going 66 mph in a 25 mph zone. On top of the speed, Polston also had a blood alcohol level that was two times the legal limit.

She hit, then 20-year-old Micaela Borrego, who was making a legal left turn at the time. The crash left Borrego with a traumatic brain injury, and she suffered from a stroke, changing her life forever…
