Piedmont man arrested in Hugo for alleged attempted rape

HUGO, Okla. (KXII) – A Piedmont man was arrested in Hugo for an alleged break-in and sexual assault attempt that happened overnight.

Donald Johnson, 36, was booked into the Choctaw County Jail on Wednesday, December 10. He is being charged with first degree burglary.

According to Choctaw County Sheriff Terry Park Johnson allegedly broke into a home near Hugo High School and attempted to sexually assault a woman.

Responding officers with the Hugo Police Department, Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office, and Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Police, as well as K-9 officer with the Durant Police Department contained the area and tracked down Johnson shortly after, who was found under a house and brought into custody…
