Carlos Uribe, 27, an alleged kidnapper who was a high-priority target on the Attorney General’s 10 Most Wanted list, has been apprehended by law enforcement officials. Previously added to the list just last month, Uribe’s capture was made possible in part due to pivotal information provided by members of the public. The U.S. Marshals Metro Fugitive Task Force of the western District of Oklahoma arrested Uribe yesterday in southeast Oklahoma City, as confirmed in a recent announcement by the Oklahoma Attorney’s General Office.
The success in capturing Uribe underscores the ongoing cooperation between the U.S. Marshals and the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, which has been an active participant in the Metro Fugitive Task Force since 2022.
