Dazzling Christmas light displays light up Oklahoma sky

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — This time of year, dazzling lights fill the air on trees, homes, and lawns. News 4 is looking into how the joy of Christmas lights has grown over the years as more people add lights to their homes during the holidays.

“With some of our reinstalls, some of them take 10 people, 30 minutes. There’s jobs where we’re there three or four hours for an install. It just depends on how many feet of line and lights there are on the house,” said Dennis Qualls, who runs The Christmas Lights Spirit.

Dennis Qualls has been installing Christmas lights for 14 years and has seen the industry grow.

“I think the first year, I had 40 installs and it’s just it’s blowing up every year,” said Qualls.
