AG requests OK Pardon and Parole Board deny clemency for Kendrick Simpson

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond formally requested for the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board to deny clemency for death row inmate Kendrick Simpson.

In 2007, Simpson was convicted by a jury on two counts of first degree murder and sentenced to death for the murders of Glen Palmer and Anthony Jones.

Authorities stated Simpson followed Palmer, Jones and one of their friends for miles in Oklahoma City before pulling up beside their car and firing 20 times at the car’s occupants…
