Norman PD set to conduct DUI checkpoint December 26

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – The Norman Police Department (NPD), in conjunction with the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office, is reminding drivers to drink responsibly after announcing a DUI checkpoint on December 26.

NPD is looking to identify impaired drivers with its driving enforcement project during the checkpoint. Police say the department will show zero tolerance for impaired driving.

According to NPD, the ‘No Refusal DUI’ checkpoint is designed to remove impaired drivers who decide to get behind the wheel before any deadly consequences occur.
