NORMAN, Okla. – For many families, Christmas is filled with traditions at home. For others, the holiday looks very different, spent inside a hospital room.
At Norman Regional Hospital, staff worked to bring a little Christmas magic to their tiniest patients by arranging a special visit from Santa Claus in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Inside the NICU, the babies were wrapped up like presents and took pictures with Santa. Those photos from the visit captured what staff describe as “tiny miracles” as these babies spend their very first Christmas surrounded by doctors and nurses…
