OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — An investigation is underway after emergency crews recovered a body on Tuesday afternoon at Lake Hefner.
Oklahoma City Police and the Oklahoma City Fire Department are on the scene of Lake Hefner after a body was found in the water by the docks on Britton Road.
According to officials, at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, a person who was at the south end of Lake Hefner discovered a body floating in the water against the shoreline. When officers arrived, they determined that he was an adult male who appeared deceased.
“A passerby was here at the south end of Lake Hefner, where we’re at now, and discovered what appeared to be a body floating in the water, against the shoreline.
