Rising costs force dozens of metro restaurants to shut down in 2025

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Restaurants across the Oklahoma City metro are feeling the pressure as costs rise and customers cut back.

“There was like 43, 44 this year, which was, I have to say, way less than we expected in coming into this year, the economy being what it is and things that are happening,” said Greg Horton, writer and co-founder of Eating OKC.
