OKC, Okla. – Oklahoma City is home to the third-largest Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade in the United States, drawing thousands each year to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
For more than 40 years, the OKC MLK Alliance has organized the parade and a series of related events, helping it grow into not only one of the largest MLK celebrations in the nation, but also one of the most diverse.
Community members from all backgrounds are invited to take part in the events on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, as Oklahoma City comes together to honor Dr. King’s message of unity, service, and equality to continue keeping his dream alive…
