OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame inductee and former KFOR News Director George Tomek has passed away at 86.
According to the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame, Tomek started his career in 1960 in Tulsa before moving to Oklahoma City in 1966. Here, he worked as an anchor, reporter and later news director KFOR Oklahoma’s News 4.
