Three dogs safe after house fire started by electrical issue in NW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (KOKH) — Oklahoma City Firefighters put out a house fire near Northwest 56th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue on Monday around 10:30 a.m.

Two dogs were rescued from the home, and a third ran away but was later found. No injuries were reported, and no one was home at the time of the fire. The homeowner reported there were ongoing electrical issues before the fire started.

When firefighters arrived, the attic was heavily involved. When the homeowner arrived on the scene, the individual reportedly tried to reenter the home while firefighters were still working…
